I Survived the High Sugar / carb war – you can too.

The Carb Survivor

What’s this blog about?

I was once a sugar addict and carboholic, constantly struggling with my weight and feeling tired and sluggish all the time. That was until I discovered the low carb high fat lifestyle, which completely transformed my health and my life.

I made the decision to go low carb after hitting an all-time high weight and feeling hopeless about ever being able to lose the extra kilos. I was desperate for a change and willing to try anything, so I dove into the world of low carb.

The first few weeks were tough, giving up sugar and carbs was a challenge, but I was determined to succeed. I replaced my carb-laden meals with healthy fats like avocados, nuts, and olive oil, along with as much animal fat, meat, eggs and all the things we’ve been brainwashed into avoiding. I was amazed at how quickly my cravings for sugar disappeared.

Despite the initial difficulties, I was relentless in my commitment to the low carb lifestyle and was soon reaping the benefits. I had more energy, my brain fog lifted, and I was able to lose 20kgs (44lbs) in just 4 months.

What was once a struggle has now become a way of life for me. I feel better than ever and have never looked back. I am now a proud low carb advocate and love sharing my story and helping others achieve the same success I have experienced.

The low carb high fat lifestyle has been a game-changer for me and has given me the tools to take control of my health and my life. I am forever grateful for this journey and the way it has transformed me, both physically and mentally.

This helps me keep on track and help do my part to reverse the obesity and diabetes epidemic that took hold in the 1950’s shortly after processed food manufacturers started demonising real food like read meat, butter, eggs and started replacing it with ultra processed crap packed with sugar, refined carbohydrates and seed oils.

It’s not a mystery how we got where we are, it’s time to fight back, reverse the trend and get the message out. I hope you can join me in my journey.
